As most of you know, I will not miss Gary.

We agree on almost everything … but this is one we don’t see eye to eye on. He’s not my favorite color man but he’s nowhere near as awful as he’s made out to be. I also liked Verne even though a lot of my fellow Bama fans did not. So, I suppose we must disagree on that as well! I will say this … the SEC fans will miss CBS. Their production of the game of the week was superior to most of the other afternoon games.

I'm gonna miss the broadcast and I don't mind Gary. A LOT worse out there, and if you don't believe me turn on those noon games on ESPN, late games on Fox Sports, and most of the conference channels. CBS broadcast takes me back all the way to my childhood and I will forever love the music and Verne and Brad's intros. Loves them. Something no one else has been able to replicate. Fowler is close, but still not close.

Gary's biggest issue to me was his tendency to harp on something during the game and just not let it go... maybe a penalty or a botched replay review... and then the rest of the game, he keeps bringing it back up. Other than that, he is fine, IMO... he just goes too deep into the color when it isn't needed and won't let things go that no longer matter...

Starting with Tebow....you can throw in Cam Newton in this as well. He would slob their nob incessantly.

I think that sticks out to us as Bama fans, because I know LSU fans feel as though he did that to Bama and all the greats we have had come through. Ingram, Henry, Smith, Young........all of our Heisman winners he doted on pretty well.

I think we were numb to it, with our team, but it sticks out like a sore thumb when he does to others.

So Gary talks us up during other team's games? I wouldn't know, I only watch him when it's Bama LOL

Maybe that's why we all think he hates us, we just never hear him say anything good about us because he only does it during games we aren't watching!
