Weird as compared to what?

So far this year the SEC has had the majority of their games at night.

I'm not a big fan of how the scheduling has been done this year though...hell, ended up watching several games at the same time last night before crashing out from sheer boredom.

The only saving grace, so to speak, is when I got up early this morning SECSports.com already had them all uploaded.

We talked about this weekend a few weeks ago with a *few* having the thought it would make a good double-header weekend.

It seems to me there was one other week a double header was scheduled. Do you recall off the top of your head which weekend that is?

Never mind my thought now...the 14th's double header doesn't include a night game.

Yes, this weekend is the only time "SEC on CBS" is in Prime Time. Which is why I think they probably had an exclusive and no other SEC team(s) could play at night. Why else would ESPN not have SEC night game(s)?

You might be right, but I don't recall hearing or reading anything about that.

I find it interesting that UA is sort of under the decisions made next Sunday when to have our homecoming game.

I suspect our game with Ole Miss will get that afternoon slot. But, in the past, if we didn't we'd just tell the TV networks to go elsewhere and we'll kick our game off when we want to.

Now, the University doesn't have choice, per se. It would be weird having a homecoming game at night...really change that day around campus.

It's ALL about the money! When ESPN said, "we'll pay ALL 12 of you two million more per year than NBC pays ND, they ALL said, "Oh, OK!".
