Phil Steele says his preseason All-America team differs from others in that it doesnāt factor in what happened last season and instead projects whatās to come in 2014.
Judging by his projections, the SEC will be absolutely loaded again this season as it landed the most players of any conference (10) on the first team: two from Alabama, Georgia and Texas A&M and one each from Florida, Ole Miss, Tennessee and South Carolina.
The Crimson Tide came in first in the SEC and second among all schools with eight selections to the All-America team, trailing Florida Stateās 11 total selections.
Twelve of the league's 14 schools had at least one player make the team. Kentucky and Vanderbilt were the only schools left out.
Hereās a look at all the SEC players who made the cut:
First-team offense RB: Todd Gurley, Georgia
WR: Amari Cooper, Alabama
OG: A.J. Cann, South Carolina
OT: Cedric Ogbuehi, Texas A&M
