🏈 SEC chant...am I the only one that gets annoyed by it.

Hmm, I heard plenty of "ALA----BAMA" chants. Heard plenty of "SEC". Heard a really nice RJ. All of which I don't mind.

I like our physical conference and personally I feel it's the best so why not chant about it? Time after time we hear about these other confereces that claim to be just as physical but I've yet to see it. No shame in showing pride for your conference when in the end, that's who your team is representing on a regional level.

Move outside of Alabama and your opinion might change. I take every chance I can to rub it in that I am from the south. Also if we didn't have to play in the SEC's conference Im quite certain our chances of being in the National Championship Game every year would increase. People should know how hard the SEC is.

If you just beat a top rated team, why do you want everyone to think they are overrated? Why not be proud your team just beat one of the best in the country?

I agree. That title belongs to Alabama. Not to Vanderbilt. Not to South Carolina. Not to Auburn. The Crimson Tide.

The SEC is the best conference in football, but leave the "conference affiliation" smack to the Ole Miss and Miss St fans who have nothing else to fall back on. Alabama fans have no need for it.

I'm torn on Rammer Jammer. I've done the Rammer Jammer myself on occasion, but against the Blind Sisters of the Poor we shouldn't do it. Period (Yeah, Big_Fan, thats a rip off of one of yours)

As for the "SEC" chant, I will not participate. To do so only invites hate and retaliation when a non-SEC opponent beats an SEC team. Its counter-productive and only serves to promote bad sportsmanship by implying that your team isn't crap because it isn't in the SEC. We need to lose that little SEC habit, and the sooner the better.

Truthfully, I could care less for the SEC, so many teams in the SEC have tried to tear us down, wipe our face in the mud, kick us when we were down, wrote us off as has beens, say we live too much in the past with Bear and all, even though we now have had two coaches since bring us to the big game. I mean I am happy for the schools like Vandy, Kentucky and such that do well, and I like being in the best conference and all, but basicly Bama made the conference. JMHO

to me rooting for the SEC means that your team isn't good enough to root for, screw the SEC chants, nothing but bama chants in my opinion.
