🏈 Season Stories: Alabama vs Missouri - Game One

Just watched those highlights and Mosley, Harris had really good games. The D needs some D linemen to start playing nasty...

Careful about those DL comments...you could be sent to the corner for not knowing how this defense really works. It has changed since the days of Tomlinson, Payne, Reed, Robinson, Reed, and Marcel. You know when those guys used to kick some azz but also played in the new system of just doing your job.

Ha... To me you can do your job and play nasty. It means controlling your gap as well as getting off blocks. I do not see the two as mutually exclusive.

Perhaps Barmore can help if he can get his act together.
He needs to get healthy before anything and then he can start worrying about how much playing time he's going to receive. Word has it he's matured more over the past two weeks than his entire time in Tuscaloosa. That credit goes as much to him as it does Freddie Roach. He's beginning to get the picture he has to be willing to take on two and do his job.

There were few times Saturday with the pass rush where the D either lost contain, got out of their rush lanes and it opened up running lane for the QB or the rushed up the field past the QB. Not sure why it is so hard to get buy in that this is an issue. Same goes for Rush D. Now being able to execute it is a different story.
