I am afraid that the week before is already to late to worry about physical and mental toughness. That shouldve been done in the offseason, doing it now only amounts to beating the snot out of each other before the game.

(Scott Cochran is awesome btw, i also tthink that saban knows this. its the only reason i can think of for letting him talk to the media)

I don't even need to read the article to know what it will say. With the #1 team coming to town I'd certainly think Duke would be preparing in a different way.

I recall an old basketball coach of mine using a similar philosophy in preperation for a big game. We scrimmaged for about 3 hours and then ran gassers and suicides for another hour. I called him out on it and we ran some more. It was the end of the season before tournament time. My question to him was..... what good does this do us for Friday night? Response was .....it gets us ready. Cutcliffe should've done this a long time ago, say like weeks one and two of fall camp.

I have to admit I got amused at Cutcliffe's comment about who would impersonate Ingram and Richardson. I liked CNS's response in his first year. We were getting ready for Arkansas and someone asked him who was impersonating McFadden on the scout team. He commented that if we had anyone who could be McFadden we'd be playing them.

Perhaps we should take these guys more seriously. I know, it's 45-13 at the start of the 3rd quarter, but, we have some issues on the D to work out, like tackling for starters.
