Just like they stole land, they borrowed some Alabama Indian place names - Etowah, Eufaula, Wetumpka, etc.

Several years ago, I hiked the Ouachita Trail - starts near Little Rock and ends maybe thirty miles into eastern Oklahoma (Talimena State Park near Talihina). That part of the state is quite beautiful.

I built the OU web site back when Shula was HC. I watched the MSU game in Shawnee, OK. I wanted him fired, that day.

The lady that owns the web site now...spent two weeks with her in Shawnne. We spent several days shooting mocassins in her pond with .22LR. A LOT. Stocked pond...great bass.

I had a bourbon at Barry's house with the kicker on OU's team that beat Bama in T-town. Nice guy. I had drinks with their OL...bought my dinner that night "on Barry" is how it was described.

I went back in the spring of that year for her launch. Watched spring practices on fields that weren't any better than Bowers Park (it is upper class to those fields.)

There's one fan base you can't argue with on defense. Two, if we include Paterno's. IT's OU's.

Stillwater, at OSU, has a GREAT golf course. I shot 84 and was happy. OU's course is just off campus. Nice track. I assulted that bitch.
