The interstates near Atlanta are the smoothest sailing ones you can find. The Atlanta airport always reminds of "the most wond-er-ful tiiiiime of the yeeeeeaarr..." Oh! And there are NO speed traps at all in Douglasville. None...
Okay, fine...I think most are good sports when they hear Auburn misplaced in west Georgia.

Both. That's the sad part.
I LOVE the part of Georgia I live in (North Georgia Mountains). Not as fond of the state the further south you go.

I service twice in GA., while I was in the Army! Ft Benning, and Ft. Stewart. After getting out of the Army, we live in Glennsville, Ga for about 4 years until Mama called! Well not my Mother, it was, my sister needed help taking care of our parent. Also, our youngest GD was born in LaGrange, Ga. She my Ga. peach, and the biggest Bama fan!

My aunt and uncle lived there for years before retiring to the beach. I do like that little town.
About 45 mins. from me.

I lived in Clay County for a bit over a year before moving to Carrollton. Dirt road called Apple Tree Rd, maybe a mile long with a Trail of Tears marker on one end of it. Maybe 5-10 miles outside of Goodwater.
Several friends live there (some members here, some not). North GA is awesome. Home of Chick-fil-A, The Varsity, and Heriloom Market BBQ.
