May be just my imagination but it seems to me that Coach Saban gives a pc ever day. I dont remember Coach Bryant or Stallings having to give interviews all the time like this. Is this just part of the internet age we live in or what? Seems to me hes getting tired of having to answer all these questions. Did you see how hes rubbing his hair or am i reading to much into this? Thoughts?

Ol 21 looks to be a bit leaner than I have seen him in times past. He looks to be several biscuits away from being a DL as Kines would say.

His guns looked to be a little more defined too. I'm glad he seems to have his crap back together and will hopefully have a great season. Good luck to Prince!

He probably beefed up during the spring. Since he didn't have anything else to do. :D It really sucks that he won't play the first 3 games. But he brought it upon himself. Hopefully his heads outta his a$$ and he'll put those new guns to some good use. I can't wait to see him make up for some lost time.

I sense optimism from Coach Saban in his press conferences. The fact that he said he was disappointed in at A-Day lets me know that he doesn't mind saying when things aren't were they want them to be. In this particular press conference he said he wasn't disappointed just said the key word from this camp "Improve". The fact that he doesn't settle when they do good that he always wants them to get better is a top trait of a great coach and team.

Not necessarily more PC's, just more media coverage and more outlets reporting on them. The internet boom is responsible for most of it, but talk radio has been responsible for some of it as well. As soon as Saban says something, it is being talked about on radio 30 minutes later. It is a big difference from the days when folks had to wait for the morning newspaper to read a small practice report as told by the team's beat writer. These days, if someone reads something about Alabama football in a newspaper (or sees it on a newscast), and it is actually "news" to them, then they don't follow Alabama very closely.

Prime example of that is a lead story in one of the state papers today is the Va. Tech game being closer to becoming a reality and we started talking about that Thursday after Moore's presser.

In an effort that is fledgling at best you see these beat writers have started blogs so they can "get word out as soon as feasibly possible." That still tends to be late when compared with 'net avenues.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...I won't mind it at all if another al.com link was never posted here. They are often 3-4 days late and are jumping on someones bandwagon/skirt tails.

I was watching the replay of LSU-UGA from '03 the other day. LSU won that game like 100-0. Saban rarely if ever looked pleased with his team's performance. It's just the way he is. I certainly hope he knows how to unwind when away from the game. If not, he's gonna need truckload of heart pills.

He looks way more lean than when I saw him at the Independence Bowl 2 years ago.
