šŸˆ Saquon Barkley had 44 yds of rushing...smells alot like LF7

Hard to disagree with that comment. Go on ESPN and read the comments about Damien Harris on that article I posted a few days back and you'll just shake your head at some of the comments people throw out there solely because he plays for Alabama.

Penn State just lost it in the 4th quarter.. Depth was their issue .
I didn't see the game that way at all. Ohio State was shooting themselves in the foot time and time again early on but they were still moving the ball and moving it well. As I recall OSU had 10-12 more first downs on the day and had something like 250 more yards as well.

Think back...

1st possession - fumble
2nd possession - penalty, bad call, punt.

At that point OSU was down 14.

They tacked on a field goal and then we had Meyer making the decision to go for it on fourth down just outside of the red zone. I want to say it was 4th and 7...I know it was more than five. Turnover on downs.

A few minutes later it's 21-3.

Then we start seeing both teams exchange points.

I saw some horrible play from OSU yesterday. Most shocking was how out of sync their special teams were early on--lucky there wasn't a kick blocked.

Just another case of two guys seeing the same game differently.

Bottom line is the Buckeyes fought back from horrible special teams play, key mistakes and made plays when they had to make them. The Nittany Lions played well in the first half and did not make the plays in the second half.

After halftime no one ran the ball other than saquon Barkley , beside QB scrambles ....

I don’t believe you can keep up that level of execution with no back up to help shoulder a load that you know Ohio State was gonna deliver for 4 quarters ...

I agree Ohio State shot them selves in the foot , the difference being Penn State could only compete till the starts were spent .

Then Ohio State went on a scoring spurt Penn State could match or stop .

@BAMAneck good post.

I want to build on a it a bit ... ok, hijack.

Consider what we've talked about concerning where Penn State is as a program. A good first 30 or so ... and then depth.

This same Penn State did what to Michigan? And, what does that say about a guy we're not hearing a lot about this season.

Thankfully.

I was really hoping it was Bama who would expose PSU. Oh well...

To be fair, Barkley and McSorley are the only two with run stats the entire game.

He averages 17.25 touches per game, against Ohio State he had 21 touches.

7 touches in the first half, 1 of those ended with negative yards.
14 touches in the second half, 8 of those ended with negative yards.

Seems like Penn State had more explosive plays in the Michigan game than vs Ohio State . Once penn state got Michigan out of their game plan ( which is run the ball with play action down the field ) game over ..

I think Michigan has been looking for a QB ever since ...
