📝 Sanders brothers- Keep an eye out on this one.

This is the most depth I can remember at the position since the Saban' era. Whoever shows up will have to see the possibilities. A lot of these elite guys want it all yesterday and it may be difficult to see past the numbers. But if it's more about his brother, in the long run, we just eliminated that hurdle.

There isn't many years that we don't have running back quality and depth in the Saban era.
Ingram, Richardson, Lacy 2010
Lacy, Yeldon, Drake 2012
Yeldon, Drake, Henry 2013
Henry, Drake, Harris* 2015

3 NFL running backs in each of those groups. *Harris[/QUOTE]

I think he's getting at the fact that we had FIVE legitimate running backs last year that could play anywhere in the country and run for 1,000 yards with that team. We had eight players average over five yards a carry, and one of those was Ronnie Clark who only sees the field late, but the rest saw playing time in important parts of the season.

This is so. All our guys look like they are going to play in the pros for years to come. Big and fast. We might get Trey Sanders in that we are a second recruiting class from Najee and Brian. Pretty much why I felt we would miss on Emory Jones and we did. It wasn't just numbers, it was the ability that you can see in front of you. Not many players are up for that regardless of what they say. We got Jerome Ford and that was to be kinda expected last recruiting cycle with the talent down there. Ford might be all that when it's said and done but being 2 years removed from the 5* haul should help us this cycle.

As a quick update, it looks like UF is going to offer Umstead a full ride for the fall versus Bama's offer of a preferred walk-on. I know UF didn't sign a full class (want to say it was 19) so they've got the room.
