I thought his explanation on that was interesting though. He tried to cover it up, poorly, but alluded to this team having overachieved (although he tried to reassure us that wasn't what he was saying), he didn't think they had the team to win the SEC after the Ole Miss loss. But they proved him wrong. He is genuinely impressed with this teams heart and effort. They play as a team and committed to the process and won him over.

Hope they continue to surprise the coach.
