🏈 Saban's postgame press conference after Arkansas win...

I swear, if this team somehow back doors it’s way to the playoffs and somehow wins the national championship, it will be Saban’s most inept national championship team ever, and will go down as one of college football’s most laughable national championship teams of all times.

I don't know if all that would fit on the trophy.

I think this defense is good enough for a championship run, but as Schizophrenic as our offense is, I'll be surprised if we win the west. Could you imagine this team with Bryce at the helm?
It would be better but only so much you can do with the OL that he would have protecting him. Of course he would get rid of the ball quicker. BTW a team with BY at QB had 15 penalties last year against the Viles..... Seems to have some muscle memory from a few years of allowing undisciiplined practice habits - pure speculation of course. Something is not right. The early Saban days were extremely disciplined. Last few not so much. Something changed.

It's so much more than that too... He didn't have much of an OL last year, but this year, WR's have been getting more open. He'd be hitting them right, left, and in-between. He'd also be able to audible out of some situations that Milroe can't and would be much better with protections and processing the defense.

Fair enough, maybe he would have rolled pocket or changed the protection or audibled. Defintley would have been better making the throws. He was the top pick last year so he would make any team better. Which makes me wonder how bad the panthers have to be to have BY as QB and be 0-6.

Bad. Very bad. But this practice of throwing all these 1st round QB's into the fray in game 1 of their rookie seasons is a dumb practice, IMO. But, NFL teams aren't known these days for patience.
