A reliable source told me the full story on what happened. This is good...
During the play, apparently the scumbag from Fl (#52) decided he would SPIT on AJ (BIG mistake). AJ went to the ref and the ref said he didn't see him do it, but he could see the spit. He told AJ he could throw the 15 yd penalty, but no ejection. AJ was obviously pissed. When he got back to the huddle, he told them what the Fl player did to him. At that point, DJ Fluker told them "I'm gonna kill that mf." Two plays later, Fluker tried to break him in two, after the play. PAYBACK. He did get the 15 yd penalty, but all that did was further solidify the bond of the OL. Essentially, #52 single-handedly awakened a sleeping giant, in our offensive line.
When AJ was obviously so wound up, he could pop, Saban told him to "Calm down," to put it nicely. AJ then told CNS what happened and he told CNS "Do not worry coach, my OL has my back." Saban then gave him the nod, with a "twinkle" in his eye, as to say "that's what I wanted to hear."
