I ran across a tweet earlier today from the "voice" of LSU pre-post game...it was along the lines of I'd rather have any coach than Saban talking to high school coaches. Setting that aside...

CNS speaks on today's offense and defenses:

 
So defensive coordinator pay will decrease?
In a perfect world, that'd be nice.

However, rule changes that favor offenses unfortunately requires new defensive standards.

In what world did any of us ever perceive that holding opponents to less than TWENTY PPG would still make us #1 defense in our league?

<20PPG is the new standard, unfortunately.

Just as a side note here.

As I recall from last season out of the top 10 highest paid assistant coaches in college football seven were defensive coordinators. Sark, Chaney, and Yurich were the three offensive guys. USA Today has the database.
