šŸˆ Saban on SEC future scheduling: ā€œThey’re giving us Tennessee, Auburn and LSU. I don’t know how they come to that.ā€

Personally, I want those three to be Bama’s permanent opponents. I could understand Saban’s displeasure if the playoffs weren’t being expanded but since they are I prefer those three over any other three. I bet most season ticket holders agree.

@Davestwin when the sec started with 12, there were six schools who took football seriously. They were considered "The Have's." Now there will be nine. Whoever gets three gets screwed.

Tennessee will probably get Vandy.
The MS schools will get each other.
OK, TX and aTm should all get each other, with the salve of Arky and Mizzou.
LSU will probably win big, getting one or more MS schools - or FL.

In the end, if they actually do the 3-6, you're just dodging a team every other year. We are going to get GA, TX, aTm, FL, OK every other year, and then again we'll get Mizzou, Vandy, KY, Arky and the MS schools every other year.

I can see us having one TX, one MS school a year, bounce between GA/FL, between KY/SC, OK/Arky and
Vandy/Mizzou. That would be equitable.

We already play them every year so not sure what this changes. Now there will come a time post Saban it will be an issue but that will be the case anyway. Did not read the article so maybe there is more context if I read it.
