I like Penn State. I have no intentions of booing them as I think most Bama fans also have respect and appreciation for PSU. I like the history between our two programs. I don't partake in it but I don't care either.

However I'm not about to think for one second or be nieve that they are sweet little innocent angels either. There are idiots in every group on any team....

Of course anyone could find the same kind of videos (and probably much worse) of our own fans. But again, I don't care heh. All I know is nobody would be throwing cups of crap on me or my family or I'd take it to that level.

See its stuff like that 2nd video thats the reason i cant go to away games and never will. There is no way in hell I woulda just walked away from that, especially that lil homo that ran up on dude and hit him with the drink from point blank range. Hell no, they may have all jumped on me but at least a couple woulda caught a fist upside the head. That is not cool at all.

i don't understand the whole idea of booing a team for existing which is basically what ur doing when they come into the stadium. i think the only times i've booed at a game are when the refs appear to be asleep at the wheel and miss something obvious. and even that i feel dirty about afterward.

Maybe if he's the only one booing? I remember two funny ref booing situations. One was the OU game whne they came to Tuscaloosa. The call was so bad even the OU fans next to us were booing. LOL!

The other was a game vs UT at BDS where they blew a call. It wasnt booing but we sat over the tunnel where the refs went to the locker room. The boos had settled down and this guy yells " I HOPE YOU DIE" right when everyone had stopped. The people in front of me and on my row turned around to look at the guy and his face was brighter red than and Arkansas helmet. Then the laughter errupted.

I didn't say we didn't sing rammer jammer, but we just need to keep our composure as a fan base, and respect Penn State a bit more than we do some of these other low-lifes we play, like Ole Miss and their wonderfully ethic and high-moral head coach, Houston Nutt. Paterno is a throw-back to a by-gone era of college football, when it was a game played on the field, and letterman jackets were worn proudly. It's a business now, and fans are more loud-mouthed and arrogant than ever. It's part of the decline of the USA, imo....Too much emphasis placed on sports and athletes, and less placed on other, more important things.

Still, I proclaim for us to respect Paterno, show some class, but remember, he wants to beat Alabama. At the end of the day, he's a competitor still, and needs to be shown, ON THE FIELD OF PLAY, that Alabama is #1.
