History awaits Coach Saban tomorrow, if memory serves me correctly I don't believe that any coach has led his squad and won a National Championship with two or more different teams at the highest level?

Please correct me if I am wrong?

I know that Jim Tressel won at Ohio State University once and four other times with Youngstown State which was a lower division and some coaches at Division III have done something similar through the years.

A minor fact but worth mentioning.

All the Best Alabama and start spreading the good news.
Go Tide!

No question he will be the only one with BCSNC's at 2 different schools. Any other claim since 1936 (first AP Poll) would be debateable. Sagrin is now giving Coach Bryant credit for the 1950 NC at UK because UK beat OU in the Sugar Bowl. But Bama doesn't want that can of worms opened because of their Bowl losses after being awarded the NC.

I'm not completely sure, but Coaches Bryant and Saban may be the only two coaches to have SECC at two schools.

Welcome back, Ref.

Thanx...

I heard that Saban is the only one to accomplish this in the modern era.

The two other coaches who did it before with two different teams was

1). 'Pop' Warner and
2). Howard Jones who I think won with USC & Yale going back to the days of Titanic or something like that.

Time to bronze Nick's place at the Stadium.
