🏈 Ryan Kelly will return vs. UT

I almost don't want to mess up what we've got going. Call me superstitious, but I am hoping it all finally started to gel last weekend after the Arkansas game. I honestly didn't think Kelly really offered us anything truly special athletically anyways, maybe as a senior he had a voice, but I just never thought he was something we couldn't get by without. Either way, I hope the best man plays, and our coaches know A LOT better than me.

Ryan is just a Jr if I'm correct. I think he gives us a better understanding of line calls and defensive recognition. His exposure and experience is the difference. The staff may decide to limit his plays like CNS likes to say, "put him on a pitch count".

Bingo!

Let's not forget he played in about 75% of the games in 2012 and started on a good offensive line last season.

Another thing to keep in mind is the rotation we've seen at our guard positions. His experience in the middle can only help.

Let me add this too about Ryan. IF CNS does have Ryan on a pitch count (30 plays), then it means that he gets another week of rest leading into the bye week to better prepare for the home stretch. That can be HUGE!!!

I guess it's the unpopular opinion around here, but I don't think Ryan is all that. It seems he doesn't have as much punch or power as Bozeman - no mean streak. I noticed it last year when he was hurt as well. Either way, the coaches know better than I do.
