How do you think Bama's rushing attack will fare against the Tigers? I think it will be tough in the first half, but Bama will break them in the second half.

I have to agree with jdpas on this one, Terry.

Alabama is 2nd in the SEC and 22nd in the nation in rushing yardage. 'Bama averages 199 yards, on the ground, a game. They have 2,184 net yards rushing, which is first in the SEC.

The AuNecks rush defense is eighth in the SEC and 46th nationally.

They allow, on average, 4 yards a carry by opposing teams and about 130 yards a game. For comparison, 'Bama allows opponents, on average, a measly 75 yards a game.

Their defensive line may be adequate but it will not stand up for over a quarter to Alabama's offensive line push.

they're also missing Trott who was their best offensive weapon from what i saw when he was healthy.

I agree with both of you. We'll be so pumped it'll be hard for that cow college to hang on much less survive. The Tide wins by 35 and the Cows won't score a single point.

While auburn does have a pretty good defensive line, I don't think BAMA will have a problem running on them. If auburn continues their inability to move the ball offensively, it will be a VERY long game for the barners. The defense is going to be VERY tired in the second half. BAMA will probably put over 200 yards rushing on them.

I tend to think we'll break em down early in the game. They'll come out stoked and playing on pure adrenaline. A couple of good hard drives by Bama and they'll be used up and open to a good beatdown!

I say we get about 70 to 100 yds. in the first half and close to 150 the second half...By the 4th. quarter, they should be sucking wind pretty bad. Thats if we choose to run the ball

Arkansas is the only team I would look at and say our OL and RB's are better...although, I'd love to have a player like Michael Smith.

Personally, I can't put WVU in this conversation because of the offense they run. But, I'd say LSU's backfield and OL is every bit as good as ours. In fact, depth wise, I'd give them a slight edge.
