🏈 Rumor Mill...

Tip of the hat to you for the correction. Hell, I don't even pretend to keep up with Juco football. It's hard enough keeping up with the SEC. I just know the Miss. Juco's are bad to the bad, there's a couple of elite ones in Cali and the one or two in Kansas. Why in Kansas always baffled me. And if the Juco's are decent, why does KU suck so bad? Things that make you go HMMMM...
Because Bill Synder at K State signs them all!

IF he withdraws today, he really can't go anywhere and play this year. The year is still burned in terms of eligibility. The advantage of dropping down to a JUCO is that he could graduate in the Spring and go to another FBS school. But if he doesn't play, will there be any interest? If he transfers to another FBS school, he still has to sit out so he loses another year of playing time. He doesn't have a lot of good options.

Is it my understanding that If he withdraw from school today, and transfer to another school, he still has to redshirt this year.... But most likely he'll go juco route... It doesn't matter where he goes.. who cares. Let's hold off on speculation and all... BY the way, someone took the " rumor" and posted it on TF without citing the source... so be careful of what you post here...

If he ends up not withdrawing today, I'll be surprised.

It wouldn't make sense NOT to, at this point. He's in the dog house, he's not "Kiffin's boy", and his antics have buried him at the bottom of the depth chart, below a really promising Freshman that everyone in the program has glowed about.

I think he sees the writing on the wall.

All True... BUT... Very small possibility Kiffin is here next year.

He's already used a redshirt year so he just loses another year (he'll still have three years left).

TF doesn't have to source a rumor. There's no copyright protection on rumors.

I will let you split the hairs and stay out of it... lol
No, but you're still splitting them while saying you're not.

Question. You do acknowledge that we heard from multiple sources that Cornwell stated he's not "Kiffin's boy", right?

Cornwell felt he had a legitimate shot at starting THIS year. And all indications from the end of spring ball thru summer workouts pointed in that direction. But, no one, including DC, expected BB to make such headway in fall camp with the staff, AND with the team.

Two more questions: Kiffin recruited BB from the left coast, right? And Kiffin is still here this year, right?

If your answers to the 3 questions above are all " yes", then I don't see your point in the possibility of Kiffin being here next year.

Kiffin recruited BB, and DC has been passed on the depth chart by "Kiffin's boy".

The fact that I made reference to " Kiffin's Boy" as one event in a series of events that progressed to where we are today as it relates to DC doesn't change the fact that DC felt that way last week, and started the slippery slope of negative occurrences that have led him to the brink of possibly transferring.

Odds are neither starts this year, and when a new OC comes next year, there will be competition. Cornwell has as good a shot as any to be the next OC's "boy" (since that may be important), because he wouldn't have recruited any of these guys.

To address your overzealous argument, you got caught disagreeing with yourself, and everyone see's it. Deeming your own point irrelevant was your fault, not mine.

It's OK to laugh or brush off your mistakes.... Doesn't make you less of an E-man.

Still...not...getting...it.

I never disagreed with myself. I called your invalid point to task.

1) Kiffin recruited BB. Kiffin Loves BB. And so does the rest of the staff.

B) BB has passed DC on the depth chart.

Both of those things mean that BB is KIFFIN'S BOY, regardless if he's here or not, and lead to greater animosity between DC, BB and staff.

All that matters is THIS YEAR. And this year, DC feels that KIFFIN'S BOY has passed him on the depth chart, and gives him no chance of letting up, regardless of who's calling the plays next year.

Stop, dude. Just stop. You're embarrassing yourself.
