How much do you hate the contract, and subsequent payday, the University is getting from Nike?

I don't like the shirt. I don't like a lot of things Nike puts out. But, when it comes to UA, I love the money it brings.

After that Saban is house shopping in Atlanta and has already accepted the Atlanta job.. Julio has be helping broker the deal...

look, nike can make all the different stuff they want. it's their dime and they can spend it however they want. but in the end, when it comes down to it, the schools have final say on if they want to wear the new style or not.

nike can create new things and put them out there and most people will believe that the school will be using the new uniform. even though no one, NO ONE, from the school has said anything about it.

do you really think ANYONE at THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA would make a change like that and not put it out there? if it doesn't come directly from the school or athletic department, then it ain't happening. PERIOD!

things like this happen just about every year. and just about every year a lot of people start complaining without doing any amount of research for themselves and just take whatever some reporter or "insider" says as gospel.

ALABAMA isn't oregon (thank goodness, that crap they wear is effin' hideous). ALABAMA is tradition.....plain and simple.

Any chance CNS could ride the elephant into the stadium? Could we get 2 smaller elephants for Kirby and Lane to ride. They could enter the stadium 3 wide.

I actually saw these along with the article on Uni Watch today. There were also several tweets of denial from athletic depts.

The season can't get here quick enough.

Someone on Woolly posted a pic a year or two ago of the team at practice... the light was hitting the helmet of the player just right and made it look white with red poka dots... had a bunch of people believing we were wearing polka dot helmets hahaha

I would rather us ditch our traditional uniforms and go with the all out modern bull crap than to wear white helmets. When I see white helmets I think peewee league team uniforms. I can't think of one team that I like there uniforms that wear a white helmet; there's a few close one's, but it's probably the white helmet that ruins it for me.
