🏈 Rules While Watching Bama Football! (In my house!)

@rick4bama ....what? We just went through a bad year.... lost a game to AU....
We got Nick on "hot seat" in our house.....lol

I have to admit I get a chuckle out of watching Georgia fans uploading their videos on the last few minutes of the NC game. As much as I laughed it's also why I don't watch Bama football with anyone I don't know or appreciate.

On one of the videos, a petulant young Georgia fan cut the TV off as soon as Devonta's feet hit the end zone. Everyone else in the room had to leave or just sit there, stunned of course. After a minute or so one dawg fan asked, if maybe there was a penalty, but nobody had the courage to turn the TV back on to find out. Reminded me that years ago I went over to a friends house, nice guy, who liked the barn, to watch the IB. I didn't know he also invited a couple of guys over that also liked the tigers and a couple Bama fans, including myself. Bama is winning and starting to celebrate on the sideline and with about 3 minutes left he gets up in someone's else's house and turns the TV off. The host looked stunned but didn't tell him to turn the TV back on. So, I did. Threatening his firstborn if he didn't.

I learned a couple valuable lessons. Don't watch football with emotional idiots. Don't watch Bama football with the enemy. Unless you have the remote.

Ha Ha, that is a good one. Talking about your experience, I would have said a few pointed words towards that guy, and if it was my house cussed out he would be for doing some crap like that. I don;t go anywhere to watch the games, and make sure I am in the confines of my own home. Not for the sake of bad words, yelling, and punching things, but because I can control my environment, switch channels, and do not feel obligated to carry on conversation in case I'm focused or just not in the mood. I'll go to games all day long, but I hate watching at bars or anyone else's house, even my family's houses are no-nos. I did watch the last Alabama-Georgia regular season game in Athens at my dad's around twenty Georgia fans, so that was actually a good time because they didn't say a word from the second quarter on.

If I absolutely can't watch at home I will listen on radio at home to avoid going to a bar or elsewhere to watch. Made the mistake of going to a local pizza joint/bar to watch the '16 Bama vs USC game because my provider was feuding with the network and i couldn't get it. There was one obnoxious POS USC fan in the whole place but he would not shut up with stupidity even when they were getting their brains beat out. I swore never again. If people are at my house during a Bama game I tell them before hand that we may talk a little during commercials but other than that WATCH THE GAME

I prefer to watch the game alone.

Actually....me too... ms50+ complains about every play that doesnt work and every penalty that goes against us.....lol

In other news, if things are going badly for Alabama my wife leaves the room and goes to the bedroom and puts the game on. If they start doing well she will finish watching in there, yelling frequently to me that it is all because of her that they are winning.
