You can tell Curt Cignetti is a Saban disciple. They're up 17-0 in the 2nd half, and he doesn't look happy. If BAMA can't pull this one out, I'll be rooting for IU to go undefeated the whole way and win it all. I know most people would stay in conference and pull for UGA or OM, but IU is impressive and they deserve it. They look AND play like a championship-caliber team. And they look like the most complete team on both sides of the ball.

And, again, if BAMA can't pull this one out, I'd much rather lose to the #1 team (+ the Heisman Trophy winner) than anyone else.

Yup. The loss here doesn't bother me at all. Never thought we had a chance to begin with ... just glad we made the party and got back at Oklahoma. THAT is fine for me.

Kirk just said what we're all thinking. For a team with the season on the line, Alabama is showing zero interest to play.

You hate to draw comparisons to Saban, but unfortunately that's the nature of business in sports. This team got disrespected on all levels from the media. It should have been enough fuel to charge an entire team to prove doubters wrong. Instead yet again, DeBoer's teams shows up with zero energy and no intensity. That kind of disrespect would have been a death sentence under Saban. Two seasons in a row, the team has regressed. Maybe it's personnel issues but I see a lot of coaching errors littered throughout the season.

Not saying he isn't a good coach but I just have doubts if he's a championship level coach. Guess we just need to embrace it. I would like Alabama to play to a certain standard regardless of circumstances. But I don't think we have a coach that holds them accountable to that standard.

The thing is, he is 100% correct. I’ll ask again, how can we consistently look so bad for such long stretches? Yes, we beat 4 top 25 teams but even those games we looked so bad for stretches in the game. Our OL and physical play is embarrassing. Give 100% credit to CCC, his staff and the IU players.
