This kind of thing happens by accident more than you might think.

It's been about a year, maybe a little more, when Shannon Terry (owner of 247) forgot he had a gun in one of his bags and took it through the airport security. It ended in the same fashion.

Hell, I had some ammo on a winter coat one time that rang alarms and was carrying the coat because the weather temp was supposed to drop around 20-25 degree in a few hours. Forgot all about it.

Well he's a free agent now...Was thinking once the Raiders cut Khalif Barnes, they could maybe sign Smith to a 2 year deal with him, but this didn't help
