Rolando McClain acquired by Dallas Cowboys

I've either listened to an interview with Ro or read it, I'll summarize what I read/heard. One of the reasons he came back to football (Ravens workout/tryout) was because his kids wanted to watch him play football again. While he was there, his kids said they missed him and wanted him home, so he retired again.

Seems like little risk for Jerry (although Cowboys fans are already pissing/moaning about this). We all know Rolando has the potential...its just a matter of where he is mentally.

Ro needs to either totally commit to the NFL and the Cowboys or else really retire and get on with his life. If he doesn't go "all in" we will be hearing once again about his retiring or being cut.

All the best, Ro.

Really low risk for the Cowboys.

The terms of the deal for McClain essentially turn a low-risk deal into a no-risk deal for the Cowboys. If McClain plays 50 percent of the defensive snaps this year, the Cowboys will trade a 2015 sixth-round pick to Baltimore for a 2015 seventh-round pick.

If that doesn't end up happening but McClain is on the 53-man roster for five games or the 46-man roster for three games, Dallas will swap 2016 seventh-round selections with Baltimore if the Cowboys have a better pick. If McClain fails to make the team, the Cowboys lose nothing.
