Being an Alabama fan has its rewards. Jan. 9 was rewarding, particularly for me, because Alabamaās 21-0 victory securing the 2011 National Championship came over LSU.
The one year I happened to live in Louisiana was the year that LSU beat Alabama for the first time after 11 straight losses. After losing 11 straight, Iām sure Iād enjoy it too, but LSU fans are pretty insufferable in victory. At least in defeat they are quiet.
