Which road game will be the most popular this year? I'm thinking the Clemson game in Atlanta, but I know that a lot of fans are making a road trip to Baton Rouge this year also. Thoughts? Opinions? Witty Anecdotes?

Tennessee. I have no reason to believe we will lose. Always more fun away from home when you win!

Hey guys,

I really enjoy this forum and know a few members from other places.

Hopefully many will make it down to Baton Rouge for the game. I am sure the media will make it to be some hated battle but the truth is come down with a smile on your face because you will get all the free food and beer you want.

Hope to see yall here.

I think the LSU game will be hyped up a whole lot, depending on both team's records, since it is late in the season and it's Saban's first time back to Baton Rouge.

I think the Georgia game has the potential to be a very big game early in the season. Hoping that we get passed Clemson and Arkansas (which I expect to be down this year), we could very well be going in to this game undefeated (4-0)...and they'll probably be rated in one of the top 3 spots in the top 25.

UGA has two somewhat tough games before this game with @USCe and @Arizona St., I believe that ESPN has already picked this game up as well. We owe them one from last year, too.

There is a thread on another forum (LSU) that is talking about which road games stick out the most for Bama fans. I made the comment that the Georgia game is the one that concerns me the most...not because of a talent difference (there is one) but moreso because of where it falls on the schedule.

I don't really view Clemson as a true rad contest. Arkansas really doesn't come across at a scary contest to me this year. But, I do think it'll be a close game.

The Tennessee game. In pre Fulmer days this was the rivalry where the games were always hard fought, but the teams had a lot of respect for each other. The way things are now, I hope we're singing Rammer Jammer in the middle of the 4th quarter.

LSU, here are 5 reasons why.

#1 Relevance... The outcome directly impacts the SEC West title, SEC title, and LSU's efforts to repeat as NCs.

#2 History...The game was, is, and will be a rivalry, unlike the Clemson game.

#3 Clash of the (Coaching) Titans...Is Miles better than Saban? Les "$4,000,001" Miles proved himself last year among the coaches of the SEC, with one qualified exception...Nick "only making $4 Million" Saban, who as a first year coach can not be considered an apples-to-apples comparison. Given this unanswered question, LSU dominating Bama for years to come is not a foregone conclusion.

#4 Tabloid Drama...Will Saban and the media get along? Can LSU win with none of the carry-over from the Saban years? How will the #1 recruiting class look against the #1 team? Louisiana State Highway Patrol on the field...escorting the LSU's coach or chasing their QB?. Answers to these questions and more on this episode of "As the SEC turns".

#5 Springboard...Will November be the nightmare for Bama it has been in the recent past? If Bama beats LSU...look out Auburn...look out BCS...and hang on for next year.

No other road game comes close IMHO.

I'm hoping that by the time we get to Georgia, we have seen a solid Alabama team. We need to make that game a real contest, win or lose.

I think we surprised LSU last year. We need to go finish it this year. It's time to start showing teams the future and get some notable wins.

As far as TN, we just need to WHOOP some Big Orange A** in Knoxville.

Great!

Great points!!! I agree with this one and the Georgia Game is a close second! We owe them as well!

Last season, I thought Bama played pretty good. We took the team that finished the season at NO.2(Georgia) to overtime, before they finally beat us. We pretty much had the NO.2 team, who finshed as BCS champs(LSU), to the last minutes before losing. Those 2 teams should've blown us out by what they were ranked. We murdered Tennesse, who were favored to beat us. If ours boys play this season like they did last season, but can finish in the second half what they start in the first half, we shouldn't have too much to worry about. Like CNS said, it's about consitency. If we have that this year, Bama's gonna be great. I'm not saying we're gonna win every game but, Bama will be a test for most teams. I don't know if I'm making any since. lol. I think yall know what I mean. lol. So I think the Tennssee road game will be hot cause they want payback. The Georgia game will be hot cause we want payback. But the LSU road game will be the hottest because we get to see how Miles can do with his OWN recruits against Saban's Bama recruits. Plus Saban will be back in the Bayou but as the enemy. That's gonna be the road game of the season, IMHO.
