He's a violent player, both with his hands, and tackling. I remember when he got to Bama be had a constant problem of not keeping his eyes and head up when he tackled someone, and with how hard he hits.... it could've seriously hurt him. Glad he got coached up before he seriously hurt himself. Like this play here.

Smartest thing the original USFL did was the territorial draft. Birmingham had Alabama, the barn, smaller state schools & Mississippi schools if I remember correctly.
Helped to create more interest in each team.

That's what sucks, prior to what happened off the field, he was playing at a pro bowl level. He was dominant.

And his injury just made it worse, be was going to be a starter for Washington that year. Just bad luck.

Lynch loved his potential, and he's pretty good at spotting it. Not that it was too hard to see with him...
