šŸ€ Retin Obasohan has surgery

Alabama men’s basketball player Retin Obasohan underwent ankle surgery on Friday morning, coach Anthony Grant announced.

Obasohan, a junior guard, needed arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle. The procedure was performed by Dr. Norman Waldrop at the Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center at Saint Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham.

Obasohan played in 30 games last season with 20 starts, and returns as the team’s second-leading scorer at 9.5 points per game.

He also ranked second on the team in steals (54) and led the Crimson Tide in free throws attempted (156). He has played in a total of 61 games during his two seasons at Alabama.
