Report: Broncos work out running back Trent Richardson
NFL fans will definitely recognize the name of one player trying out for the Broncos on Tuesday.

Running back Trent Richardson, one of the biggest NFL draft busts in recent memory, is at Dove Valley, according to Mike Klis of 9News. Denver has no intention of signing him this season, Klis says, but they're keeping an eye on him for future consideration. Ronnie Hillman is a free agent after this season, while C.J. Anderson is a restricted free agent.

The club hosts tryouts for a large group of players every Tuesday. It typically consists of young players who have bounced across different NFL rosters or veterans approaching the end of their careers. But sometimes a big name pops up.

The Browns selected Richardson third overall in the 2012 NFL Draft after a stellar career at Alabama. He ran for 950 yards and three touchdowns on 267 carries as a rookie, statistics he never approached again. The bulky back was traded to the Colts two games into he 2013 season, and he averaged only 2.9 yards per carry with Indianapolis. He infamously was inactive for two of the Colts' playoff games last season, including the AFC Championship Game. The organization waived him in March.
