he's already had the surgery so he's on the road to recovery now. obviously he won't be playing this year; but he was a redshirt freshman so it was probably gonna be that way regardless.

but seeing from the past at how good our staff is in getting guys back to playing form after serious injuries, i have no doubt he'll back just as strong and be ready to contribute (hopefully on the field in games) next season.

It's disappointing but it's also early in his career. Still plenty of time to play.
