Are they not paying attention...to college football? I thought we collectively had determined that this sort of stuff does not work.

It always makes me ask the question, So the issue with your team is what Ma and Pa Kettle are wearing when they leave the house heading for the game?

And bonus points for this instances of brilliance. Lets pull this stunt when doing so makes it look like a home game for the visitors.

Amen. For starters...how many teams have tried "_____" outs against us in the past few years? Do they not remember the results of those games? Usually it gets ugly for said team.

Also...of all teams to have a "red out" against and they're going to do it against the Alabama CRIMSON Tide??? Does not compute.

they are asking the fans to show up in the same color and support the team, I don't see any issue with it. Its a big game :)

I think there is a point to be made here. Perhaps it's better put to say there is a distinction that needs to be made.

IF a school has a "color out" for a game their team comes out playing well it does add more electricity to the stadium environment. One fans emotions feed more around here and so it goes on and on...

HOWEVER, if a school has a "color out" and get punched in the face early by their opposition the same thing happens but in reverse. The bad game their team is having takes the collective breath out of the entire stadium.

Consider Georgia as an example and then think about Shaud's run in 2002.

"It's going to be a looonnnggg day" she says.
