📝 Recruiting Questions

I was watching film on several recruits today and came away very impressed with George Pickens (2019 WR) and Zachery Evans (2020 RB). I know Pickens is committed to awbarn. Any chance he'll be the yearly awbarn to BAMA flip? Any news on Evans? If you haven't seen his highlight film, then prepare to be amazed. His vision and acceleration are off the charts.

I heard that JJ Peterson from Colquitt still hasn't made it into Tennessee. If so, then some losses aren't really losses at all.

When @TerryP said that the other day I went to their website and they have him, with a issued number on their roster. When I saw that I assumed he was with the team. After the whole Rashaan Evans and Auburn deal, I figured teams would be careful with their online rosters and such.

Rush Propst and Pruitt have said over and over that he's on his way. But at this point even if he makes it late he's way behind his class with no time to learn the defense. It's a big deal for the vols, with Peterson being their highest ranked recruit.

Volnation has a 5 page thread devoted to him and the question is " where is JJ?"

While it really doesn't matter, anyone else notice how most of BAMA's commitments were downgraded on the recent release on Rivals, while jawja had most of their prospects ranked higher. Seems Rivals is doing its best to create a future story/narrative on jawja's recruiting.

I noticed that and mentioned it to my wife last night. I am seriously thinking you are correct. All you heard was Clay Webb being the best Center in years, and even though not an Alabama commit, he is favoring us and drops 14 spots. They also discussed Amari Kight being a five star, yet he falls. Toss in the others and I am right there with you. Funny we both noticed that.

Anybody have a feeling or wishlist on how we finish? Those MS boys are always pretty damn flaky and I don't think 1 or both will stay in the fold, Turnage and Young.

I'd like to close with RB Sanders, OL Webb, OL Wright and/or OL Neal, DE Thibodeaux, DL Sopsher, S Hill, LB Dean, WR Robinson, and DL Ika or DL Sorrells or DL Tuitele. Possibly add most all of these with a grayshirt or two being handed out to Bowles and perhaps one other.

I haven't taken the time to see if this is correct. A few weeks ago I read a thread about the number of 5 star kids out of Georgia this class and the point was being made it was disproportionate to classes in the past.

Does anyone have any info on Webb?
He's still going to announce in December. The last I heard was about two weeks ago following the second cookout. I'm still of the belief he's Bama bound. He's become pretty close with Quick and Tyson so that can only help. Honestly, I don't see the need to really concern yourself with where he ends up. I know his visit to UGA caught quite a few fans attention but I don't believe it should be taken any further.
