interesting comment...guess we find out in 2 weeks if Dont'a is staying.

Redshirt freshman A.J. McCarron on rumors that the loser of the quarterback competition in the spring could end up transferring: "It definitely could happen, I think, but that's nothing on my mind. I'm going in being a leader, I'm going to take this team and this role as if it's my team already. When we get to spring we're hitting the ground running. I've already talked to the receivers, had a meeting with Dont'a, we're going to get everything back to the way it was the summer when we won it."

Congrats Greg, Julio, and Mark for your season/career records. If Julio and Mark stay another year, they will break a few more WR and RB records.

Here's an obscure one for ya...

If you take the SEC vs Big10 games from yesterday the final score (combining all three games of course) is

SEC - 138
Big10- 45

Regarding someone leaving, the rumor seems to disregard the influence that Coach Saban and his staff would bring to the situation. They are both Freshman and have years of SEC playing ahead of them. As a back up you have to ask yourself what are the chances that I wont get significant playing time at some point due to injury to the starter. So it not like one of them will not get a chance to prove themself.

Where would they go? Sure someone would take them, bu "someone" wasn't their first choice...Alabama was.

24 first time starters this season...a lot due to injury.
