I think it's been well publicized that Fitzpatrick's two pick sixes set a new Bama one game record, but our burst of INT's have tied or set several other game and season marks, and Eddie Jackson is approaching a career mark:
Pick Sixes: The one season record for pick sixes is also two, first set by Hootie Ingram in '52 and most recently equaled by Mosley in 2010 before being equaled by both Jackson and Fitzpatrick this season. The career record is three, held jointly by Langham and Mosley. Jackson and Fitzpatrick both have two so far this year.
INT return yards: With 230 return yards on his five INT's this season, Jackson now holds the single season record for INT return yards, previously held by Hootie Ingram at 163 yards on 10 INT's during the 1952 season. Jackson's 93 yarder against A&M was the third longest INT return in Tide history, behind only Mark McMillian vs UT Chattanooga in 1991 (98 yards) and Corky Tharp at Tennessee in 1954 (96).
Jackson's career INT stats (7 for 248 yards) has him nestled between the great Harry Gilmer (16 for 234 during the 1944-47 campaigns) and the current recordholder Bobby Luna (11 for 255 from 1951-54).
