Wow…..Nick Saban and his players are humans.
After winning the Tulane game and just reading the post over the weekend I started to think about how high our expectations are!
I understand that we should dismantle lower level teams but all week we slammed Tulane for being this pansy team full of small girls on the OL and we will just run run run all day on them. I think we just need to step back and look at this for the positive and not the negative.
1. FRESHMAN - Look at all training that our players are getting. Our freshman played the biggest game of there lives when they went to ATL and dismantled Clemson. Then they got to have there first ever game inside BDS. Its been a crazy last two weeks. I understand that our team is not full of freshman and that they should not be shell shocked but give them a break. They did there best. And I would rather struggle now then against some tough teams when we start conference play.
2. JPW – He is the quarterback of one of the greatest college football programs ever. Yeah he over threw some receivers and yeah he could have ran and made some plays but lets not forget what JPW did against Arkansas last year when he marched down the field and scored with only 8 secs left. And NO don’t give me that crap about “does one” play justify ten bad ones. NO. But one great drive allows some breathing room when you make some mistakes in a game that you win. JPW talked after the game…"We didn't come out very strong," said Wilson, who was 11 of 23 for 73 yards. "Tulane played good, but a lot of it was just us not executing, not doing what we need to do to move the ball. But we pulled out a win, and that's the big thing."

He understands that he needs to improve and I’m expecting a break out game against WKU for JPW.
And if anyone thinks JPW sucks, you can do to things:
1. Shut up
2. Ask yourself did you play QB for Alabama? Or are you perfect?
So lets remember that we couldn’t even throw the ball 20 yards with our kids in the backyard. Much less 60 yards with 92k people and less then 3.5 seconds to throw it! (avg time a QB has before a sack)
So lets get off his back and let him do his job. Remember that we don’t pay him $4 million a season!
3. Nick Saban – "I have a hard time saying we're for real unless we learn to play with consistency,"
That’s all I need to say about coach. He got his 100 career win and he gets paid a lot to do his job. I think that he knows what he is doing with the QB situation. So I don’t think some of us should “harp” on the fact that JPW wasn’t pulled because Nick Saban and our QB coaches know what they are doing.
WE SHOULDN’T BE WORRIED!
