🏈 RB depth chart for 2020

We need some football in our lives... So here we go:

Anyone else watch that Michigan game on ESPN this afternoon?!

Najee absolutely demoralized them at the end of that game. It reminded me how fortunate we are to get him back, and just how stacked that O is going to be next year. So many big time weapons and pieces coming back.

I also want to point out the positive of if/when Spring football gets cancelled.... NO ONE CAN GET INJURED practicing. Wouldn't that be a nice change?! RMFTR!

Najee was really a beast the whole second part of the season. He and Trey Sanders could be special next year.

Staying on this theme of focusing on something positive - gives the sports science guys longer to get their system in place.
In case you've missed it, their "system" is already in place. There is a little confusing information out there I've not gotten to the bottom of yet, but here's what we do know.

As of last night no athlete would be working out on campus until 15th. However, each player already has a individualized/tailored workout routines to follow over the next month. This includes nutritional guidelines.

There's where it gets a little confusing. I'm told they won't be working out on campus and there were doubts they'd be eating in the facilities as well.

The SEC released a statement that concluded with this line...

SEC member institutions will continue to provide their student-athletes with care and support to meet needs in areas including academics, medical care, mental health and wellness, nutrition and housing as needed.

That statement reads as if they can remain on campus, eat in the athletes dining facilities, and remain on campus.

Mac had some really nicely thrown balls in that game as well;..a few of those "wow" types of throws.

Absolutely. That game left us a lot of reason to for optimism!

I'm still blown away that Najee came back. With the way he finished the season I thought his stock would be about as high as it would get... Ultimately I'm not sure why he came back - If it was a mix of value, wanting his degree, a lesser RB class next year... But it turned a good off season into a great one from the returner standpoint.

If Trey Sanders is in the ball park of what we think he can be, I'll be real interested to see if & how Sark changes the O approach. I know balance is the goal, but will we find a way to feature a more powerful run game? Under Center? Mac is a different type of QB than Tua... There will need to be some adjustments.

That is one +++ thing....
When we get things settled down and under control....
I would hope we have a longer fall camp approved....got to adjust to times..even NCAA

Longer Fall camp wouldn't be good. Spring practice is beneficial because players get rest (limited practice days). A longer Fall, in the heat of July and August, could lead to injuries. You don't want six weeks of practice before the first game.

Etienne coming back to Clemson was more of a shock than Najee. Najee was a shock as well, but I could see a sliver of hope with him seeing as he may want an entire year of production like the second half of last season, but Etienne still has me wondering considering three strong years.
