šŸˆ Razorback DC Travis Williams on other teams stealing signs & how common it is in College Football.

While I don’t condone blatant sign stealing. I do believe in game if you pick up on something that is a tell , it’s perfectly fine to exploit that.

To me that’s different. Am i wrong ?
The only thing that "sits a little weird" with me is one coach handing that info down to the next weeks opponent, then he follows suit, as well as the next guy, and the next...

Just seems a little odd.

Agree. The only time I've really ever heard of that is when there is a strong connection within the staffs involved and even then there's usually some back scratching going both ways. Or in a case where several teams need a particular team to lose... the enemy of my enemy is my friend type deal. Mentioned this before, but a couple years back, some baseball coaches were sharing scouting reports on the Vols which really just centered around their disdain for Vitello.

They will trade info on upcoming opponents. My son in law is a former coach (Stetson, south Alabama) they traded that stuff on the regular….
It’s done regularly at the high school level as well…

Oh, I know. I don't think it's "wrong." The above scenario just just feels off.

Hypothetical: If Ole Miss were to meet Wisconsin in the playoffs, I wouldn't have any issues with Bama sharing film and opinions with their staff. Or, let's say Bama were to meet USC in the playoffs and they received info from LSU. No problems.

I don’t think the info should be passed to other coaches/ teams.

I seem to remember DJ Fluker ( I think it was ) having an issue of giving away if the play was a run or pass by his stance. Does anyone know if his tell was passed to other teams ? Seems like I remember hearing something like that but I could just be wrong on that.

I remember that. I want to say it was a guard versus a tackle, but don't hold me to that. I remember it being a case of foot placement.

If I recall correctly, yes it was passed on to other teams. That's how the staff found out about the stance.
