🏈 Rashaan Evans' father makes plea to negative fans: 'How would you feel if this were your child?'

After watching his son deal with the public criticism from fans of the team he once played for, Rashaan's father Alan Evans said he and his family have been disappointed with the treatment they've received both on the internet and in their hometown.

"I'm so glad that where thousands of Auburn fans have thrown my family away and ridiculed and scandalized our name, called us everything but a child of God, thousands of Alabama fans have embraced us and welcomed us to the Capstone," he said. You would think that this would have died down by now. You can't address it without the other fan base bringing up Foster and Updyke. Although those actions and statements were horrendous, that does not give you right to go after a kid and his family because the kid decided to choose a different school than yours.

Yet all AU fans seem to want to do is make this about Alabama. How sad. They're getting nationally criticized for their actions, yet all they seem to care about is to making Alabama look bad by bringing up Updyke and the tweets about Cade Foster.

News flash: This isn't about Alabama. Yes, there has been dumb shit done by our fans, but this isn't about that. This is about your fan base attacking one kid for choosing another. You guys always try to boast yourselves up and say you're morally superior than everyone else and you hold a higher standard than other fan bases, yet this completely shows you you're no better than anyone else.

They said they were "family", the following two years, they can't even sell out. They said they were a "classy" fan base, they do the same stuff every other fan base pretty much does.
