The father of an Alabama football player says his business was burglarized after someone posted an erroneous ad offering free bar equipment.

The family previously owned the Corner Market in Auburn, which was the target of message board posts calling for a boycott last year. To both Alan and Chenavis, the timing of this in relation to last Saturday's Iron Bowl is too suspicious.

"We definitely think it was retaliation," he said. "Somebody put that ad up trying to hurt us, and I think it's because my son Rashaan didn't go to Auburn."

Sheesh. In all honesty, what is society coming to when people say others are "deserving" when not one thing was done to them and a simple decision of where to go to school deserves your stuff to get vandalized and stolen? So by that logic, what's the difference in me not agreeing g with that guy and throwing rocks through his house windows and keying his car? Apparently that's acceptable since he's a fan of another team I dislike.

Bunch of badasses behind a keyboard. Yet these guys think Cameron Newton did everything 100% by the book. What a fucking joke. I can honestly say I have never seen that kind of bashing about an Auburn guy on this blog, outside of Newton who clearly is asking for everything he gets in a legitimate way. I mean, everyone in the NFL hates him. His reputation proceeds him.

Unfortunately, the NFL loves him. The players might not but he is a golden boy right now.

I feel like every other day on ESPN they are slobbering over him.

I really want to see him crash and burn. I don't wish him an injury or anything but a few brutal losses couldn't hurt!
 
Yeah, never have wished ill will to even Cam, other than he flame out in the NFl, not because of where he attended college or even the comeback he engineered against us but because he is a smug bastage. Now Fairley, I do wish him ill will, he is/was a thug that tried to injure other players.

I think most of his work is because of the NFL deal with the outreach program. I think if it wasn't he wouldn't be doing it. You know i can pull for any NFL team with a barner on it even with davis on it. But, Carolina I just can't and I know Bama has one on D that play with them.

I'm right there with you on everything you said. My Falcons get him twice in three weeks, but unfortunately Matt Ryan sucks and we love turning it over in the Red Zone, so don't expect much from us.

I really think old Matt is hurt or something? First 6 game played light out, then engine starter falling apart. When you the underdog to the TB then something is wrong!
