1) Bama - the cream of the crop in the SEC, already blown out 2 SEC opponents on the road. The only team in the country that has not trailed for 1 second of this season.
2) Florida - explosive offensive ability, stout defense...but still too undisciplined (stupid penalties that they always seem to have under UM) and already have a 'bad' loss as they lost to an unranked opponent in the Swamp.
3) UGA - Solid offense and defense, but they still seem to lack the ability to put quality opponents away (see the USC game)
4) Vandy - Only a temporary slot based off their record. However, the stats tell you this simply isn't a good team. They will drop as soon as they lose.
5) South Carolina - A team with a great defense and a budding good offense when Garcia is in the game and with other receivers starting to step it up (i.e. Barnes).
6) Ole Miss - a team that is ahead of schedule as far as its rebuilding timetable. Snead is leading their offense pretty well and under the leadership of Nutt, they're becoming a better team.
7) Kentucky - A great defense with a pisspoor offense. They're still a solid team.
8) LSU - based off of talent alone they should be higher, but they seem like they skated through the first half of their schedule...their defense is giving up a TON of points (and not just to UF--see over 20 to Aubarn's "offense" and over 20 to the Croomers). Les Miles is being exposed as an average coach starting this season.
9) Arkansas - really poor team, but they are 3-3 and are adjusting to a new coaching staff and system.
10) Mississippi State - I know the record is bad, but they're competitive in most games and just knocked off the #13 team in the country. If given another shot at the Barners, they'd beat em.
11) The Barn - Yes, it's true, they're this bad. Decent defense. It's a joke how long they were allowed to remain in the top 25. I don't even think Viagra could help an offense this impotent.
12) Tennessee - Dead last in the conference. How 'bout another donut Phil?
