🧑‍🍳 Rank 'em! Little Debbie Snacks

Zebra Cakes
Nutty Buddy
Fudge Rounds
Donut Sticks
Oatmeal Cream Pie

Mine are...
1. Nutty Buddy (Saban may like the Oatmeal Pies, but the Nutty Buddy is the Nick Saban of Little Debbie snacks)
2. Swiss Cake Rolls (a childhood staple, best served chilled)
3. The seasonal Chocolate Christmas Tree Cake (a hard to find unicorn in the world of Little Debbie)
4. Oatmeal Creme Pie
5. Fudge Rounds

Family Dollar didn't have them. It's not the first time they either didn't carry something or were simply out (the latter happens a lot.)

A older lady in line mentioned she'd bought some Waffle cones at Food Lion a few miles down the street. I rarely go up in that direction.

Walmart finally has some this morning but I'd have to buy 8 boxes of a dozen a piece. No damn way I'm eating that many cones...much less no way I'm taking up that much of my pantry.
There's a new Family Dollar (less than a year old) that I can get to from the lake without getting on 231, I've carted to the Mexican place next door. They have a horrible selection, usually strike out three out of four trips and have to make the additional mile or two mile trip to the Dollar Generals that bracket the place. Milo's Tea - no. Sour cream - no. Woolite - no. Baking soda - yes.

There's no way that place makes it.

When I was in there yesterday I asked their new manager about where. He didn't know as I mentioned. Something else struck me about the guy, "There's no way he makes it."

I don't see anything wrong with a store manager wearing a suit and tie. But, Family Dollar? One thing I can say with little doubt. That guy won't be sweeping floors, won't be stocking the bottom shelves...never seen that "type" willing to do the "dirty work."
