šŸ“ Raekwon Davis flips to MSU

Gonna sound like typical Bama fan here....but watching him in Al v Ms all star game he seemed too big. He's listed at 6'8. He seemed slow off the ball, impossible for HS lineman to move for sure. If CNS wanted him, then I'm sad he flipped but I think we'll be ok.

Despite numerous reports that four-star defensive tackle and Alabama commit Raekwon Davis had flipped to Mississippi State, it appears, for now, the 6-foot-7, 325-pounder is still committed to Alabama.

"No," Davis replied via text message after BamaOnline asked whether he flipped to Mississippi State.

"Yes sir," Davis replied to BOL's question of whether he was still committed to Alabama.

This is a fluid situation, so stay tuned to BOL for more updates ...

I'm guessing this dude is gone. Whatever IDGAF

The MSU 247 guys are saying that if someone got his phone, it's to screw with the BOL people:

It's the other way around. It's been compromised on the Alabama reporters' end.

They're standing by their reporting of his flip, because they got it straight from "the source":

He flipped to MSU and there is some miscommunication out there, too. But we reported it straight from the source.

Mullen thought he had him, too. Davis says otherwise. GOOD!!

This is a fluid situation,
There's the truth. No one knows if he is going to be eligible.

In a way it's like the Prince situation last recruiting class. I think he's Tuscaloosa bound IF there's belief he'll be eligible. The kid has been a part of this class for how long? The staff will stick with him but I certainly don't see them using a sign and place option.

Not sure if he's trolling or which side he's speaking of about being happy. But, this is the bad part of recruiting that made me quit following for the most part.

Extraordinary pressure is put on these kids from family, friends, fans, and schools. I'm always a bit put off (to undersale it) when it gets ugly, which usually comes to a head this time of year.

Keep in mind that these are young men making, in most every case, the biggest decisions of their young lives. Wherever he ends up, I hope it's where he wants to be. More so, I hope he appreciates and takes advantage of the opportunity to excel at his sport while completing his degree.

A week after he took an official visit to Mississippi State, Raekwon Davis was on Alabama's campus.

There's nothing new, or informative, in this article besides he's visiting. But, that was never a question.

His high school coach has been very vocal about Davis having made the grades. According to what I've learned, the staff is pretty confident he's going to be eligible as well.

BTW, if you didn't notice, he's over six and a half feet tall and comes in weighing around 325-330 lbs. And yet, we still have those saying Bama is recruiting completely different types of players on the DL. They aren't at the tackle position (among others.)
