Why is this type of thing still going on in 2020. Why cant all of us treat people with respect and dignity (myself included) if they have given us no reason to be upset with them? Remember the Golden Rule, "do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
Justin Fields, Cade Mays, and now Otis Reese all pointing to a "toxic environment" at UGA. One can always look and say "Mays and Reese" were following Fields "game plan" on getting their transfer. At some point we all have to start accepting the smoke normally means fire.

Secondly, here's yet another case of Kirbs telling a kid one thing only to do something else. I don't think that should be a surprise to anyone. It's been pointed to since he took the job in Athens.

Why would the NCAA deny this player's waiver request to play - especially in 2020 with everything else going on? Makes no sense.

We are fortunate to have a season. Let them play. Let Gatewood play as well - I'm sure there are more still waiting.
They haven't denied the waiver, yet, they just haven't said one way or another.

UGA opposing the waiver, after so much crap with Mo Smith, should be the story here.

ICYMI and language warning.

Sometimes you have to wonder if a kid is playing the system, just like Fields did. I say he played it because his sister is still at Georgia, so the environment must not be so terrible that she stayed. I also understand this type of stuff is happening all over the country, not just in the South, or just at Georgia. If Otis thinks this is somehow only in Athens, he's going to have a tough rough row to hoe. It's hard hearing these things happening to people, but it unfortunately is happening to everyone, and everyone is so damn mean to each other these days. I hate it and it has forced me to keep to myself and worry about my family and keep to ourselves. We still participate and I coach in my community, but I stay away from Atlanta where a lot of the trouble is with everything. I simply stay away. We don't travel, we just spend time as a family. We actually bought a boat a couple of months back so we could isolate even more on the water and enjoy that with select family and friends. Rough world we live in.

As far as Curbee, it just makes too much sense. I told y'all about him and the athletics department bribing a buddy of mine to not turnover camera footage to the police of one of his players fighting in his bar and assaulting a girl. He is clearly showing he will do anything to save his team, but also stab the guys in the back that want to leave his program. Mr. Sour Grapes should be his name.

Read the SEC commish’s reply to a question on why he doesn’t approve all of these requests. Basically said we have a rule, why should be make everyone exempt. I’m not going to. Tell the rule makers to change the rule...

Pretty good response in my opinion.
