I noted the article about Sims missing the recent Spring Practice Scrimmage due to a sour, yet uninjured, shoulder. Naturally I was disappointed for him, but at the same time disappointed that the guy who is one snap away from being our starting Quarterback was not fully engaged in spring drills. This spawned a question.

Heaven forbid the "one snap away" scenario come into play, but should it just how good do you feel about how he would respond?

Saban compared it to having bursitis in the shoulder so I wouldnt say uninjured, its something he struggled with at the end of this past season. I have faith he could run the offense, not to AJ's level, but I think he could handle it.

A QB often times suffers from a sore shoulder due to the amount of throwing done in the Spring and early Fall camp. It is a real pain to deal with. Think of it like a pitcher that suffers from a tired arm and misses a start or two.
