So, has anybody actually HEARD Saban's comments on the QBs? I myself had only read tweets and posted them here. There were some key words that were left out of those quote tweets.

I just heard it myself, and Saban used "probably", "as of right now" , and "maybe (gives us the best chance to win this week" quite a bit.

1) The announcement today was unprecedented as far as Saban pressers go.

2) Could he be leaving the option for another QB to be in the mix? Sure sounds like it, IMO.

If I was king of Bama, I would express myself in such a way that I inspire hope and optimism among the ranks. I would want my voice to inspire the feeble, the downtrodden, and the 3rd stringer. Even the lowliest of the scout team would be able to listen to my voice, dreaming of the Crimson glory to come. I believe that Saban is such a king and his eager subjects are hanging intently on the sound of his winsome words.

Oh, I'm right here. Your complete failure, as a member of this collection of like-minded souls, is an inability to communicate with three-fourths, or more, of this body without looking like a fool. If you believe any of the embarrassment for you stems from who the starting QB is, you're not getting it. You strike me as someone who's not a dummy (although misguided in the ways of economics, tax realities and politics). Your kneejerk hostility will hold you back in your life - your ability to cultivate relationships, to have a successful career, and be a successful leader of your family. I believe you can do better. If you say you only act this way online, coming here to "kick the dog" so to speak, you're still compensating for something. I wish you well, but I think the site would be better served by a better you.

He's got a point here.

You don't bother me. You do bother others. I could care less ... but not a lot.

In my perfect utopia, people use the terms "in my opinion," or "I think." It's my gut feeling you'd appreciate the same thing.

I really do get how you are repulsed by "he's going to play" kind of statements. They are asinine. But, we do leave the shaker people alone in the stadium, right? Same can be applied to this virtual community, ya know?
