🏈 Q: Injury report for LSU (Cody update)

No one really.

There's the question about Cody, but he's expected to start practicing today.

I wouldn't be surprised if Earl Alexander is in a black jersey today...but, he's spent his Monday's in that jersey a lot this season with a nagging ankle injury.

Saturday just saw some guys getting bruised...nothing serious.

Thanks Terry.

I was at the game Saturday and thought that I saw Cody jogging into the locker room after the game. This gives me optimism, especially knowing the Chapman now has some playing time banked.

I've just seen a video (link below) that shows Ingram pulling up limp on his last TD run. The way that he transitions from "high stepping" across the goal line to having to sit down at the back of the endzone is consistent with they way people Pull Up with a muscle strain or tear. It does not look good.

Ingram pulling up is at the end of the video

LBS, just a bruise that Saban says is no big deal.

I don't know who the guy is working on his knee. I know Dr. Fowler is behind him.

Yeah I heard during the broadcast Eli mentioned he came up a little hobbled, but said that he looked like he banged into something just outside the end zone. I didn't chalk it up to anything major at that point.

It looked to me that it happened as he high-stepped into the endzone.

I know this is going to be a lot like the conversation we had when Cody got hurt when I saw this...

When Cody was hurt, those of us watching the game were talking about the test that they were conducting and specifically one for torn MCL. It wasn't torn, but we knew the injury type by what was going on with the guys on the sidelines.

NOW, in this case, I saw what Delta has included in her picture. I also saw the Doc there...

Fowler = bone doctor. Ingram, bruised knee.

But, I'm sure someone will say I can't make a judgement based on medical personnel on the sidelines and what they are doing.

If I would have had a zoom lens you could.

OK, Dr. Fowler is gone in this one. That's a good sign. :)

I hung around after the game to let my kids try and get some autographs and questioned the players about Ingram. I got two responses and both indicated that Ingram had a bruise and was actually better before the game ended. I asked Cody point blank if he was going to play against LSU and he said, "That's up to Coach." Sounds to me like he is ready. Good thing is that we are a little bit deeper than we think and we have someone to step up in place of these two. Just hope nothing happens to our OL. ^*()
