Any ideas on where I could find a place to stay for the weekend of 9/11? Last minute plans in motion to host a couple Penn State girls on their first trip to Tuscaloosa. Naturally, I'm having trouble finding a place to stay. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, y'all! :a: RTR!

You're almost certainly looking at Birmingham, unless your Lady Friends are impressed by KOA.

I have a buddy who was raised within 30 miles of State College, PA. He tells me that the rural nature of that school (i.e. located both in the middle of the state and the middle of nowhere), means that day-of travel for their fans is 1.5-2 hours on average - one way. Thus, your Lady Friends may think you're pulling out all the stops for them.
