Pensacola wouldn’t be bad either IMO, had a buddy that was down there, in the Navy and was on the last years off the USS Lexington before it was decommissioned, he loved it. CG has a nice facility down there as well.

Pensacola is pretty nice. Elizabeth City isn't bad either close to outer banks

Yeah the CG has a nice setup on Pensacola NAS. I ran all their fiber and systems. Good bunch of people. Nice setup “paradise”.

I read up on the Inside Passage ahead of my trip to Alaska last year. Between the storms and tides, it's amazing how that region chews up small and large craft.
